After a long winter which has seen more snow than we have had in a long time Spring is just around the corner. The calendar says it is already here but we are just seeing real evidence of it's arrival. The snowmobile trails have closed and the ice is leaving the rivers and lakes. Soon fishermen, hikers, and vacationers will reclaim the north woods.

It has been said, A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work. That may be true but the real question is, What is a good day fishing better than?

Tarragon Motel guests Dmitrijs, Kevin, and Todd might be good candidates to answer that question having had a good day fishing in the Spring of 2006. They gave the motel's fish cleaning station a workout.
